Pattex 50 g Contact Adhesive for Users

Apply a regular layer of Pattex Neoprene Liquid on both sides to be assembled using a finely serrated spatula or a short-haired brush. In the case of large surfaces, apply the adhesive lengthwise on one side and width-wise on the other side. Let the glue dry for 10-20 min, depending on materials and atmospheric conditions. The adhesive film must be dry to the touch before contacting. (Implementation 1.Assembly)

Apply short and strong pressure on the assembled part using a Pattex adhesive roller (in cross passes). For large parts, laminates and metals, preferably use a press. The resistance of the bonding is a function of the intensity of the pressure and not of its duration. The assembled part can be flush and worked immediately after contacting. Do not dilute the adhesive. Apply the adhesive evenly on the support and on the back of the covering using an appropriate spatula. For gluing rubber, cork, linoleum, rough-faced coverings, use spatula S1. Let the glue dry for about 10 to 20 minutes until it is dry to the touch. Apply the floor covering. Any correction is then impossible. Carefully smooth the entire surface of the covering. Only weld the coating after 24 hours. (Implementation 4.Installation of floor coverings)

This is a quick and super powerful contact adhesive for bonding wood, metal, rigid PVC, rubber, felt, leather, glass, ceramic, porcelain and combinations of these materials. It resists extreme temperatures (-15°C to +110°C). It can be used for wood, laminate, metal, PVC rigid, rubber, ceramic, glass, porcelain, felt, leather, cork on wood or between them. However, it is not suitable for thin PVC sheets or upholstery fabrics PVC coated or expanded, polyethylene, Teflon and expanded or extruded polystyrene.

This adhesive allows the bonding of door and window seals (preformed strips, etc.) and can also be used for the application of certain plastic floor coverings, linoleum with jute, rubber, slabs or strips, for which laying by double gluing is currently the recommended solution. It is also used for the implementation of vinyl coverings for integral stair treads, flexible or profiled stair nosings in rubber or PVC.

This is a multi-material assembly and plating adhesive with high initial tack and a working time of 2 hours. It is toluene-free and cyclohexane-free, and can be applied by spray gun (in combination with Pattex Thinner and Cleaner).
